Eligibility Requirements for Maine Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority

  • Located in the State of Maine
  • 501(c)3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Qualified health care facility (hospital, nursing home, residential care, assisted living, and community healthcare) or institution of higher education as outlined in the Authority’s enabling statute.
  • Have sufficient revenue and collateral to cover debt service on the proposed financing.
